Great place and great location.

The apartment was exactly as showed in the photos. It was clean, quiet, with plenty of utilities and a very cute decoration. It's in the heart of Alfama, surrounded by narrow streets and restaurants where there's live fado every day. It's close to Santa Apolonia metro station and a short walk to the Chiado and main squares. The communication with João and Carla was good before and during our stay.

This apartment is amazing! It is located in the Alfama district, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, the main sites, and pretty much anything you want while visiting Lisbon. The Alfama district is very hilly, so you will definitely be working your legs, and with all the small streets, its easy to get lost. Also, cars don't drive on a lot of the streets in Lisbon. The easiest way to get to the apartment is to take a taxi to the Museum de Fado and walk from there (5 minutes). The streets are dark and twisty, but we never felt unsafe. The people of Lisbon were overwhelming nice and welcoming to us. The apartment itself is much bigger than I expected and is well decorated with comfortable furniture. There is a washing machine, which was a godsend for us half way through our trip. The windows look out on scenic views of Lisbon that will leave you swooning and the bed is very comfortable. Our communication with the hosts and their team was great. They reached out to us with all the info we needed ahead of time and were so helpful in making sure they answered our questions. The person who welcomed us even helped us set up a taxi for our 7 a.m. departing flight. We would definitely recommend this adorable apartment to anyone visiting this city!
